Who We Are
Orthodox Christianity traces its establishment back to God the Father through an unbroken chain rooted in the Holy Trinity, the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, and Pentecost. Genuine Orthodoxy is a continuation of the Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ. We are Genuine Orthodox Christians—the Christians who remained committed to traditional Orthodox practice and are not in communion with the World Orthodox churches under the ecumenical movement.
We practice Ancient and True Christianity and keep the Old Church Calendar with all the canons. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, teach and spread the Orthodox Christian Faith, and guide the life of the Church according to Genuine Orthodox Christian Faith and Tradition—sanctifying the faithful through divine worship, especially the Holy Eucharist and the other sacraments.
Our headquarters is the Monastery of St Anthony De Great in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Our African headquarters is in Makogi, Ogun State, Nigeria.
